Physical ASA
Physical ASA
Prepare for Success in Every Sport
Strong Body. Strong Mind. Strong Team.
Physical ASA is ASA-Oregon’s physical development and recreation program designed to help students build stronger bodies, better movement habits, and more confidence for Taekwondo, soccer, school sports, and other physical activities.
At ASA, we believe every child needs a strong foundation — not only academically and emotionally, but also physically. A strong physical foundation helps students feel more confident, stay active, and enjoy sports longer.
Why Physical ASA?
Many students begin sports before their bodies are fully ready. They may not yet have enough stamina, strength, coordination, agility, balance, or cardio endurance to keep up with training.
When the body is not ready, sports can feel too tiring, too hard, or overwhelming. Students may lose confidence before they discover what they are truly capable of.
Physical ASA helps build the foundation first.
What Students Build
Through structured physical training and recreation, students develop:
- Stamina and strength
- Coordination and agility
- Balance and body control
- Cardio endurance
- Better daily movement habits
- Confidence through the process
- Readiness for Taekwondo, soccer, and other sports
Who Is This Program For?
Physical ASA is helpful for:
- Current ASA students who want to improve their physical readiness
- Taekwondo students who need better endurance, balance, and body control
- Soccer students and athletes who want stronger movement skills
- Beginners who are just starting their fitness or sports journey
- Students who need a safe, structured way to build confidence through movement
- Children who spend more time with screens and need better daily activity habits
Why This Program Matters
In many sports, athletes do not only practice sport-specific skills. Swimmers, soccer players, baseball players, golfers, and martial artists all benefit from supplemental physical training to develop their bodies properly.
Physical ASA provides that important foundation for younger students so they can move better, train longer, reduce unnecessary physical challenges, and continue their activities with more confidence.
Our Goal
The goal of Physical ASA is to help students build stronger bodies, develop healthier habits, and become better prepared for Taekwondo, sports, and lifelong physical activity.
Every sport starts with the body.
Every confident child starts with a strong foundation.
